This two-session workshop (held on consecutive Monday evenings) is designed for students new to yoga, or new to the Ashtanga system. It teaches the fundamental postures and vinyasas (breath/movement) of Ashtanga, with variations as appropriate. The first classes in the basics series focus on learning sun salutations, and then move on to standing and seated postures and beginning backbends.
